Kinesiology Tape

Kinesiology Tape is applied with the ends working as an anchor with 0% stretch and the center of the tape varying in the amount of stretch depending on what the practitioner is trying to accomplish. It works by lifting the skin and decompressing the tissue beneath. This allows for an increase in circulation, decompression of nerves which aids in providing pain relief, and an increase in proprioception to name a few.
There is an innumerable amount of approaches that one can take when applying K-Tape. The six main types of applications that tape can be used for are: circulation, support, muscle assist, muscle relaxation, fascia release, and spot decompression.
K-Tape works amazing in conjunction to other therapies to aid in overall well being. And one of the best things about it, it can stay on for days at a time!
